A Beautiful Reason to Delay a Surgery

Visiting the ICU after the end of the Sabbath, we discovered the beautiful reason why the surgery of Shaima from Iraq was delayed by five hours on Wednesday: in the bed next to Shaima was little Amer from the West Bank city of Jenin, and it was he who went in for surgery in the morning before Shaima.

Like Shaima, Amer is recovering very well.  His mother explained that an IV is attached to his head only because of the difficult in finding a vein in his tiny arm.
