Dear friends,

Bayan's heart went into arrest during the night. She was resuscitated but deteriorated throughout the night and died at 6:40 this morning. The doctors in Israel who fought for her life the past three weeks have met with the parents and are deeply grieved.

God willing, the family will return to Jordan this evening, and fly back to Baghdad Thursday morning with their daughter's body, accompanied by a nurse from the U.K. who has been with them since the beginning.

I am so grateful for all who fought for Bayan's life in prayer. I've spoken with her father and shared our love for them and our sorrow, as well as our hope in the resurrection for Bayan. And I'm asking the Lord to give us understanding of the experience we've been through, and how to continue praying for Bayan's family and for their country.

Bless you and thank you for your hearts which have been so open to Bayan.
