Dear friends,

Here is the latest information on Bayan, the first Iraqi child to come
into Israel for medical care, now in critical condition in the ICU
following her emergency heart surgery on November 26:

Baby Bayan had a "major accident" this morning while being suctioned, with a hard time oxygenating and her blood pressure dropping. But now (Monday evening in Israel) ICU director Dr. Sion Houri says she "is behaving in a decent way."

"The last 36 hours we are moving in the right direction. We were down and seem to be going back up. We've taken one step forward, and are hoping there won't be two steps back tomorrow."

Praying friends write that they see Bayan's life as a prophetic sign
for Iraq, that has "unlocked something in the heavenlies." It is
suggested that we pray for her from Colossians 2:13-15, that Jesus has made us alive, wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, and disarmed principalities and powers.

Please also support me in prayer this week, as I prepare a half-hour program to share Bayan's story on Christmas Eve on the Daystar television network.

Finally, we now have on hand $16,000 toward the $40,000 which we have committed to give by year's end to support the doctors in Israel with the hospital expenses of their outreach to Arab children. Please also pray that God will move in our hearts to release these funds.
